Alexander Stefanovich Kremenetsky

Background

Alexander was born in 1842, in Slobod Olkhovatka of Ostrogozhsky district, Russian Federation and died after 1918. He came from the clergy.

Education

He graduated from the Voronezh Theological Seminary (1865).

Career

Since 1867, he was a priest in the village of Sirotin of Ostrogozhsky district, since 1876 - a priest in the village of Marchenkovka in the same district. In 1908-1913 he lived as a widowed priest in the Mitrofanov Monastery in Voronezh. In 1913 he became a monk. He was an archimandrite, vice-rector of the Mitrofanov Monastery (since 1913).
