He graduated from the Zhizdrinsky garden and vegetable technical school (1924), the Michurin fruit and vegetable institute (1932).
Career
In 1924-1926, he practiced in the economy of the Voronezh province. Since 1931, senior research fellow, head of the selection department of the All-Union Scientific Research Institute of Horticulture named after I.V. Michurin. Since 1947, Professor, Head of the Department of Horticulture, Vice-Rector (1959-1960), Rector (1960-1965) of the Voronezh Agricultural Institute.
