The Firm's practice was established in 1959, in the form of a sole practitionership, and became a two-member firm in 1962.
It has since grown to a firm of twenty attorneys, assisted by a thirty-five person support staff, including administration, secretarial, accounting and two full-time professional translators. The Firm's practice covers all technical fields and all matters pertaining to industrial and intellectual property, including the representation of clients before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Before various administrative agencies such as the International Trade Commission which has authority to block the importation of infringing products and the Customs Service which has the authority to block importation of products bearing infringing trademarks.
Before the Federal District and Appellate Courts, including the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit which is the successor of the old Court of Customs and Patent Appeals. And before the United States Supreme Court. The Firm assists clients in negotiations and in the preparation of documents pertaining thereto, in trade secret matters, and related causes, including litigation in the Courts in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
