Anatoli Papian was born on November 25, 1924 in Yerevan, Armenia.

Education

Anatoli Papian studied at the Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinematography from 1945 to 1950.

Career

Anatoli Papian took part in various exhibitions since 1950. Among his important exhibitions was an Art Exhibition in Moscow.

Since 1953, he taught at the Art College. During his career, he lived and worked in Yerevan, Armenia.

Anatoli Papian died on January 23, 2007 at the age of 82.

Achievements

• Anatoli Papian was known for his works "Portrait of Anna" and "The old mine".
  
  His works are kept in the National Gallery of Armenia, the State Museum of Oriental Art in Moscow and elsewhere.
