In 1964 Anatoly Nikolaevich became an associate professor, professor, head of the department of optics and spectroscopy of the Voronezh State University, secretary of the party committee (1983-1987). Research interests: spectroscopy of impurity states of crystals. Head of the scientific direction on photostimulated processes in ion-covalent crystals.
