He graduated from the Faculty of Technology of Moscow Technological Institute of Food Industry (1953).
Career
In 1953-1958 he was a chief engineer, the director of a confectionery factory in Krasnoyarsk. Since 1962 - Assistant, Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor, Professor, Head of the Bread, pasta and confectionery production Department (1967-1997), in 1971-1978, Vice-Rector of Voronezh Technological Institute (Voronezh State Technological Academy).
Sphere of research interests: the development of the physico-chemical bases of the technology of confectionery and bakery production. The author of over 270 works, including such books: "Technology of Confectionery production" (Voronezh, 2001), "Physical and Chemical Fundamentals of Confectionery Technology" (Voronezh, 1997, 2001), "Scientific Principles of Technology for Edible Powders and Confectionery Mass" (Voronezh, 1994; together with G.O. Magomedov, A.Ya. Oleinikova).
