Boris Adamovich Bulat was born on 12 July in 1912 in Tula in the family of a Russian worker.
In 1936 Boris studied at The United Military School of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee of the Soviet Union.
From 1956 he studied at The Higher School of Food Industry in Minskaya Voblasts', Belarus.
Since 1940 he studied at The Military Academy named after M.V. Frunze.
After graduating from school, Bulat worked as a telegraph operator.
In 1933 Boris joined the Red Army.
In 1936, after graduation from the United Military School of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee of the Soviet Union Bulat often stood in the honor guard on the Red Square near the Mausoleum.
In 1940, Bulat was sent to serve in the Belarusian military district.
At the beginning of the Great Patriotic War, Boris Adamovich Bulat was under the town of Bialystok. On the fifth day of the fighting, Bulat was seriously wounded, having lost his right hand and was taken, prisoner. Soon Bulat with two other prisoners of war managed to escape from the camp and decided to start guerrilla actions.
In early 1942, the local residents joined the partisans. The commander of the partisan detachment, which arose in Lipichanskaya Pushcha (a forest at the junction of the modern Mostovsk, Shchuchin and Dyatlovo districts of the Grodno region) was Bulat.
In December 1942 the personnel of Bulat's detachment grew into a brigade numbering more than 500 people. At the disposal of the brigade were several 45-millimeter guns and the 122-millimeter howitzer.
At the end of 1943, Bulat was recalled to the Baranavichy Regional Underground Committee and appointed as the head of the operational department of the regional center. Soon Bulat was sent to Nalibokskaya Pushcha to organize scattered units in the brigade. As a result, a partisan brigade was formed under the name "Forward".
In 1944, Boris Adamovich Bulat was wounded in the battle and was evacuated to Moscow. In the same year, Boris Adamovich was sent to the reserve.
In the period from the end of 1944 to 1946, Boris Adamovich Bulat served as the deputy chairman of the Minsk City Council, and in 1947 he became the director of the bicycle factory (now MOTOVELO).
From 1951 to 1973 he worked as director of the confectionery factory "Kommunarka".
On March 27, 1984, Boris Adamovich Bulat died. He was buried in Minsk.
Boris was a member of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union.
