In 1975, Armen Avanesovich Gukasyan graduated from the Yerevan Polytechnic Institute with a degree in industrial and civil engineering.
After graduation Armen returned home and began working at the Kajaranstroy Trust of the Ministry of Industrial Construction of the Armenian Soviet Socialist Republic as a senior engineer of the design and estimate bureau, then as a master, senior foreman, chief engineer of the Construction Department - 65. Since 1993, for three years Armen Avanesovich was the chief engineer of EAF-2 (arc steel smelting furnace) of CJSC Kadzharanshin.
Armen Avanesovich participated in the construction of the Kajaran Copper-Molybdenum Combine, the Lerno Gordz Hotel, the Bagabert residential quarter, the Kapan printing plant, the expansion of the Kapan Ore Mining and Processing Plant (injection stations and crushing department). In 1993-1996 he worked on the construction of military facilities, the restoration of destruction in places of military operations.
In 1997, Armen Avanesovich made a difficult decision to leave Armenia and move to Moscow. In 1997, Gukasyan took up the post of chief engineer of CJSC ASMI. For the period from 1997 to 1999, the company ASMI, where A.A. Gukasyan continued to work as the chief engineer, in the shortest possible time built and put into operation tennis courts on Ulofa Palme Street, various administrative buildings, took part in the reconstruction of the Grand Sports Arena of the Luzhniki Stadium and erection of the monolithic structures of the Avtobank building. Constructed monolithic apartment buildings in South Butovo, on Gilyarovskogo Street, on Shchepkina Street, performed laying of floors in the huge building of the Ehrmann factory in Ramenskoye near Moscow. One of the first in Moscow the enterprise started construction of houses from monolithic cast reinforced concrete with the use of imported formwork systems DOKA,PERI, MEVA.
In March 2000, A..A. Gukasyan became the technical director of CJSC Monarch and C and in November the general director of this enterprise.
In 2003, the firm Monarch and C again became an absolute winner of the competition "The best implemented project in the field of investment and construction." This is the estimation of the work of Gukasyan and his team for the construction of the first building of the complex of the Moscow City Court on Bogorodsky Val.
In 2004, for the third year in a row, Monarch and C became the absolute winner of the city competition. Gukasyan’s complex of the Scientific Practical Center for Medical Care for Children with Defects of the Craniofacial Area in Solntsevo took the first place at the International Exhibition "REALTEX-2005". MonArch and C annually takes part in city competitions "Construction site" and "Best household town" and in 2002-2003 took 1st place at the competition.
In 2005 A. Gukasyan put into operation a fitness center in Krylatskoye and an Ice Palace in the Khodynka Field, designed for any tournaments, including world championships.
