Pelshe, Arvid was born on February 7, 1899 in Mazaia Farm, Bauska District, Kurland, now Latvia.

1940 graduated Moscow Institute of Red Professor.

Career

1917-1918 active in Latvia revolutionary movement. Delegation at 1956 and 1959 Communist Party of the Soviet Union Congresses. Deputy, Soviet of Nationalities, USSR Supreme Soviet of 1950, 1954 and 1958 convocation.

Deputy, Latvia Supreme Soviet of 1947, 1951, 1955 and 1959 convocation. 1918-1920 Party and government work in Latvia. 1920-1940 worked for Extraordinary Commission against Counter-revolution, Sabotage and Speculation, United State Political Administration and various punitive detachments.

1940-1941 Party work in Latvia. 1944-1958 Secretary, 1958-1959 Second Secretary, Central Committee, Communist Party Latvia.

Religion

Religion doesn't give equal treatment to women and therefore contradicts basic human rights.
