Assistant Institute Solid State Physics University Tokyo, 1963—1968. Associate professor physics Ochanomizu University, 1968-1977, professor, 1977-1999, dean faculty of science, 1992-1994, professor emeritus, since 1999. Research adviser Rikagaku Kenkyūsho, since 1999.

Member various councils organized by Minister of Education, Science, Sports and Culture: Council for University Chartering and School Juridical Person, 1993—2000. Member council Yamanasi University: A University Administrative Council, 2000—2004. Committee member of administrative council Akita University, since 2006.
