Fikret Khansuvarovich was born in Azerbaijan. Son of Khansuvar Alikperovich Mirzoev and Simuzar Akhmedovna Mirzoeva.
In 1977 Fikret entered and in 1983 graduated from the Department of Theoretical Physics of the National Research Nuclear University "Moscow Power Engineering Institute" in Moscow, Russian Federation. In 1983 he entered and in 1986 graduated from the post-graduate course at the Department of Theoretical Physics of the Moscow.
He is a doctor of sciences in condensed matter physics. Dissertation title: Self-organization in an ensemble of non-stable particles and the formation of ordered structures in the condensed matter under the action of external fluxes from Lomonosov Moscow State University in Moscow, 2002.
Fikret worked as a Senior science researcher at Lebedev Physical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences in Moscow, Russian Federation from 1987 to 1991. At this year he worked at the Institute on Laser and Information Technologies in Moscow, Russian Federation. He worked there for nine years. From 2000 to 2012 Fikret was a leading science researcher at the Institute on Laser and Information Technologie in the Russian Federation. Since 2012 he works as a head of department of mathematical modeling of laser processes, FSRC "Crystallography and Photonics" in the Russian Federation.
Achievements include contributing to the development of the theory of self-organization processes of localized and periodic nanometer structures and the kinetic theory of nanocluster formation in the irradiated condensed matter. Research in the kinetic theory of nanocluster formation in solids, self-assembled nanostructures in irradiated metals and semiconductors, nonlinear strain waves dynamics in solids with non-equilibrium carriers of local disorder (vacancies, intersities atoms, electrons). Research in localized waves in a system of point atomic defects in crystals under laser exposure, self-generated waves in phase transformations in metastable systems, and instabilities and nonlinear waves emerging in channeled penetration of high-power laser beam into condensed media.
