1902 graduate Tartu Veterinary Institute. 1907-1908 studied at Zurich University.
1902-1904 veterinary' surgeon in Valmera and Limbazi. 1905 forced to emigrate because of revol activities. 1911-1914 associate, Davos Institute of Tuberculosis, Switzerland.
1914-1916 veterinary surgeon in Serbian Army. 1916 associate, Institute of Hygiene, Geneva University. 1917 bacteriologist, Lugano Chemical and Bacteriological Laboratory.
Returned to Latin in same year and resumed revol work. 1917-1919 head Valka Veterinary Department. 1919 head, Riga Veterinary' Department and associate professor, Faculty of Agric, Riga University, where he established a microbiological laboratory.
1920-1923 associate professor of bacteriology, various faculty, Riga University. 1921-1937 regularlyattended Baltic Veterinary Congresses in Kaunas. 1922 established microbiologie:!] laboratory at Pasteur Institute, Paris.
Also organized production of scrum against swine-erysipelas in Latin 1923 attended Pasteur memorial celebrations in Paris. In same year founded serological unit at Riga University and Anti-Tuberculosis Social.
1925 organized production of tuberculosis vaccine. In same year deputy, Riga City Duma. 1926 attended International Congress on Dairy Farming, Paris.
1927 - International Conference on Tuberculosis, Oslo. 1929 - Conference of International Writers’ Union, Vienna. 1930 - 1st International Congress of Microbiologists, Paris, and another International Conference on Tuberculosis, Oslo.
1935 - Baltic Veterinary Congress, Tallinn. 1936 - Conference of Director of Baltic Serological Stations, Tartu. 1937 - Conference of International Writers’ Union, Paris.
1938 - 13th International Congress on Veterinary Medical, Zurich. 1939 - Conference of International Writers’ Union, Prague. 1940 president and prime-minister of Latin
