Career
After a career as a radio producer at London"s Virgin Radio and a presenter on Liquid London, Perreau was named the Editor of the world"s biggest music website NME.COM in 2005 and revamped the website including adding a new video and audio focus. The Press Gazette named Perreau one of the 50 People Shaping Online Journalism at the end of 2006. In 2007 Perreau announced he was to leave NME.COM and joined BSkyB where he took up the position of Strategic Director of Content where he was responsible for Sky"s new content division, most notable Sky"s Women"s Lifestyle, Travel and Motoring sections.
During this time, Perreau was also responsible for commissioning Sky"s first ever web television series, "Wear it Well".
In 2009 Perreau launched Gigulate, an automated aggregator for music news and concert listings., which The Daily Telegraph called one of the best Culture websites on the web. At the end of 2009, he joined Global Radio as Director of Digital content where he would be responsible for the group"s editorial strategy and content direction.
In 2013 he founded Synkio, an online and mobile platform for music and audio licensing.
