Boris Evgenievich was an artist of the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (1979-1981), Voronezh State Academic Russian Folk Choir named after K.I. Massalitinov (1981-1983), the Kuban Cossack Choir (Krasnodar, 1983-1985).
In 1985, Boris Evgenievich created the ensemble "Cossacks of Russia" at the club of the Voronezh Car Repair Plant named after Telman, which became the laureate of the 2nd All-Union Festival of Folk Art (1987), the All-Russian Festival of Folklore (Belgorod, 1987). The ensemble received the status of a professional team (1990), the first prize at the All-Union Festival of Cossack Ensembles (Volgograd, 1991). Since 1993, the ensemble has been sponsored by the Southeast Railway.
