Boris Konstantinovich Zykov was a head of the Physical Education Department of Voronezh Polytechnic Institute (1962-1967), Voronezh State Medical Institute (1967-1969), Voronezh State Pedagogical Institute (1969-1979).
One of the founders and director (since 1979) of Voronezh State Institute of Physical Culture. Chairman of the Regional Federation of Gymnastics (since 1965). Member of the Scientific and Methodological Council on Sports Education of the State Sports Committee of the RSFSR.
