Since 1971 he works in the Voronezh Puppet Theater "Shut". In 1974-1980 he was an actor. Among the roles: Grandfather ("Alyonushka and Soldier" by Vladimir Lifshits, Irina Kichanova), Dog ("Kitten by the name of Gav" by Grigory Oster), Skomorokh Dudka ("Blue Deer") and others.
Since 1980, the head of the production section of the theater. With the participation of Derevenskyh, the material part has been created for more than 60 performances. A participant in international and Russian festivals of puppet theaters.
