Bruce MacDougall began his career as a Law Clerk at the Supreme Court of Canada for Mr. Justice Gerald Le Dain from 1986-87. In 1988 he was appointed by the Allard School of Law as an Assistant Professor. In 1990 Bruce MacDougall was called to the Bar of B.C.. From 1996 to 2002 he was an Associate Professor. Since 2002 Bruce has been a Professor of Law.
MacDougall was also a Visiting Scholar at the University of Florida, Gainesville in 1993, and Distinguished Research Fellow at King's College, London, in 2001. He has also practiced law in Toronto and Vancouver.
