Bruce Watson Steiner, American Physicist, chemist. Achievements include research in mesoscopic structure of gallium arsenide, growth of bismuth silicon oxide, sources of inhomogeneity, redefinition of candela, unification of source-based and detector-based radiated power measurement; first photo detection of cluster negative ion. National Science Foundation fellow, 1976-1977.
