Carole Campbell was born in 1939, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States; the daughter of George N. Sr. and Jeanne (Bieber) Redington, a logistics engineer.
Carole Campbell received a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Master of Education degrees at West Chester University. She also attended St. Joseph’s University.
In 1961 Carole Campbell began her career as a classroom teacher in and around West Chester, becoming a substitute teacher in 1968. Two years later she was appointed as a teacher at Exton Baptist Nursery School and worked there till 1972.
From 1972 to 1997 Carole served as an educator and reading specialist at Coatesville Area School District. Almost at the same time, she held the position of teacher at Immaculata College. In 2000 Campbell was appointed as an operator of a framing business for computer cartoons. She is also a volunteer reader at the local library and a contributor of children’s poems to newsletters.
Carole Campbell wrote her first book Teacher’s Guide for Window of Time in 1997. The second book Powder Monkey was published in 1999.

Carole Campbell married R. Thomas Campbell, a health systems consultant and writer, on June 25, 1960. They have two children - Stephen S. and Caren J.
