Mr. Tze studied political science and law at Christ College, Cambridge, England and also the University Libre, Brusselles.
Charles S. У. Shu Tze worked as secretary to the Chinese Legations in Belgium, Switzerland and Spain, secretary to the Chinese Delegation to the Paris Peace Conference in 1919, officer of ceremony in the President's Mansion in 1920, counsellor to the Ministry of Interior in 1921, director of the civil affairs department of the Ministry of Interior in 1922.
He was also substitute delegate to the International Labor Conference in Geneva.
