As someone joins the group of people seeking to follow the way of Jesus, it means to respond to God's challenge and begin to share his relationship with God as Father.

God, who is heard throughout the Bible, calls for justice for the widows, orphans and aliens who were oppressed by the powers of the day. Therefore the involvement in political life is something that Christians should not avoid.

God should be loved with hearts as well as with minds. To the best of their ability everyone needs to think things through in the light of reason. This means becoming aware of different points of view, and using his or her critical thinking to make sense of God's world.
