Education
He was trained by Seiho Takeuchi, noted artist of the traditional Kyoto school.
Career
In 1918, Bakusen Tsuchida, Shiho Sakakibara and Kagaku Murakami founded the Kokuga Sosaku Kyokai art society, which worked for a reform of the traditional Japanese watercolor painting.
Membership
He became a member of the Japan Arts Academy (1947).
