He graduated from Economics Department of Waseda University in 1927.
Career
He entered Jiji Shimpo (newspaper) in 1927. Then he moved to Shin Aichi (newspaper) in 1929. He became president of Chubu Nippon Shimbun (newspaper) in 1942 and after retirement (1947) was appointed to present post.
