He was born on the 7th of in 1888 in Peihai, Kwangtung, China (Beihai, Guangxi, China).

Education

Cho-min Wei started his education in Chinese Classical School in Chungshan, China. He learnt English by private tutoring in 1902-1903. Then he studied at Boone School in Wuchang, China from 1903 to 1907. He got the Bachelor of Arts with Honours there in 1911 and the Master of Arts in political science in 1915. In 1919 Mr. Wei was awarded Master of Arts in Philosophy at Harvard University in U.S.A. and Doctor of Civil Law at University of the South in U.S.A. in 1927. After that in 1929 Cho-min Wei got Doctor of Philosophy degree in University of London, England.

Career

Cho-min Wei worked as a Doctor of Philosophy at University of London, England in 1929. H continued as instructor in mathematics, at Boone College, Wuchang from 1911 to 1918 and then as professor of Philosophy there in the period of 1920-1924. From 1924 to 1927 he was a dean and professor of Philosophy at Central China College, Wuchang and since 1929 was a President of Hua Chung College (Central China College) .
