She has also been involved in a variety of community activities in different capacities, including educator, lecturer, juror, external evaluator for promotion to tenure, and others. Since 1980, Neill has been served as a Professor of Painting at Maryland Institute College of Art.
Nowadays, a professor Emeritus, she shares her time between Baltimore City and the Berkshires of Western, Massachusetts.
