Career
When Oomen was seven years old, she experienced an out-of-body experience while under general anesthesia for a tonsillectomy. She says that she watched the entire procedure from a distance, and believed for a long time that this was completely normal. Since turning 18, Oomen claims to have experienced regular conscious out-of-body experiences, and she has kept a daily record of her dreams and out-of-body experiences since 1986.
