Updike, Daniel was born in 1693 in North Kingstown, Rhode Island, circa. Son of Ludowick and Catherine (Newton) Updike.

Career

General of Rhode Island, 1722-1732, 43-57, conducted trial of 36 pirates captured by English vessel off Long Island (New York) coast, 1723. General Kings County (Rhode Island), 1741-1743.
