Mr. Burak practiced law in New York City before returning to Vermont in 1978 where he became actively involved in the state utilities regulatory field Mr. Anderson worked with Mr.
Burak at the Vermont Department of Public Service and joined him shortly after he opened his private practice in 1982. Since then, the firm has expanded to eight attorneys, drawing mainly on associates hired laterally from nationally known law firms.
In addition to its utilities law expertise, the firm practices in a wide variety of areas, including environmental and land use law, banking, commercial finance, bankruptcy and other creditors" rights, securities fraud, lender liability, municipal finance and general corporate and real estate transactions.
