Treasure For Our Sand Castle is a fun story with whimsical ghost crabs, containing factual information about seashells, sea life, and the beach enviornment. The illustrations, done in pen and ink and tinted with acrylics, were designed to allow for the addition of colors by the reader. The title page has a place for the child to write his or her name with the author's and illustrator's.

Deborah A. Robinson was born on February 28, 1958, in Neptune, New Jersey, United States. She is the daughter of Ralph and Mary Jane (Norris) Durrua.
Robinson received her education at Monmouth University in 1980. She also obtained her Master of Education degree there in 1983.
Robinson started her career as a community caseworker at Jersey Shore Medical Center in 1980. In two years, she became a rehabilitation supervisor at New Jersey Easter Seal Society. She then became a manager of the Second Step Program in 1984. She held this position for two years and was appointed to director of rehabilitation services there.
Since 1989, Robinson works as a director of Project Career/Customized Training at Ocean County College, and since 1995, she is also a freelance writer.

1995Robinson is a member of the National Association of Colleges and Employers and Ocean Nature and Conservation Society. She is also a member of Lakewood Chamber of Commerce and Ocean County Council of Agencies.
Robinson was married to J. Merriman until the couple got divorced in 1984. The next year she married Charles P. Robinson III on June 29. They have 2 children: Laura R. and Matthew A.
