Dharma Chandru grew up in Tamil Nadu and he got into Photography when he was 14 years old also with the help of films he went on to become a self thought photographer.

Dharma Chandru is one of the brand ambassadors and Photo Mentor for Canon India. Started with a Canon Sure shot Camera in 1998 later went ahead with Minolta Dynax 5 in 2001 and Started Using Canon Digital SLRs from 2005 with 350 Doctorate. Currently, he is full-time into photography teaching, conducting Photography Tours and Workshops and competitions. He is Official Photographer Royal Challengers Bangalore 2012.
Dharma Chandru is one of the brand ambassadors of Canon.
He own the Light Art Academy.
