D.M. Mishra is a poet, satirist, author and Ghazalkar of the democratic stream of Hindi literature. Equally creative in both poetry and Ghazal. DM Mishra is also known as an important name of Akashvani, Doordarshan, Kavi sammelan and Mushayars and is rewarded by many organizations. In 1979, DM Mishra joined M.M.H. Post Graduate College Ghaziabad as a Lecturer. On 21 April 2019, DM Mishra's Ghazal collection "Wo Pata Dhunde Hamara" was released at All India Kaifi Azmi Academy, Lucknow. Pathar, a magazine originating from Deoria district, was a special issue focusing on the Ghazals of D.M. Mishra, January-March 2020.
