Author of sermons published in the Voronezh Diocesan Statement and in a separate edition. Member of the Voronezh Church Historical and Archaeological Committee (1901), Voronezh Scientific Archival Commission (1901). He was engaged in the church history of Russia and the history of the city of Ostrogozhsk of the 17th-19th centuries. Author of publications in the Ostrogozh Calendar for 1909, critical works on the history of schismatic creeds.
