He also played on death metal band Hate Eternal"s debut Conquering the Throne, though he left the band shortly afterwards, and on the Paranoid Delusion European Parliament by the band Welt. Doug has reportedly become a full-time engineer, and declined to rejoin Suffocation in 2002.
