Stephen Dominic Ellery conducts orchestras all over the world. He is regularly invited to Japan, Poland and South America. He is the Music Director of the Polish Opera in London with whom in the last few years he has performed Moniuszko's Straszny Dwor, Halka and Hrabina. He also gives concerts at St Martins in the Fields with the London Gala Orchestra with whom he performed at the Buxton Fringe Festival, Frome Festival, Leytonstone Festivals in
Background
Stephen grew up playing jazz, blues, reggae and rock music with his mother and her friends.
He went on to study clarinet and composition at music college and studied conducting in Krakow, Poland, 1988-91 and Saint Petersburg, Russia 1991-95.
Education
At school he learnt clarinet.

He has conducted orchestras and opera companies in Peru, Mexico, India, Vietnam, Japan, Australia, France, Poland, Russia, Germany, Austria, Italy and more places.
