Dmitrienko Elena Vasilyevna was born on November 20, 1971 in Voronezh. She is the daughter of artist Vasily Tikhonovich Dmitrienko and the sister of artist Olga Vasilyevna Dmitrienko.

In 1987 she graduated from Voronezh Children's Art School, in 1991 she ended Voronezh Art College (teachers were V.T. Dmitrienko, O.V. Dmitrienko), in 1997 she ended graphic faculty of the State Academic Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture of the Russian Academy of Arts in St. Petersburg.
In 1997-2003 Elena worked in the graphics workshop of Professor V.A. Vetrogonsky. Since 1989 she participated in various exhibitions in Russia and abroad. Elena is a nominal scholarship student of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation in the category "Young artists" (2002-2003).Since 2003 she is a Press Secretary of the Petrovsk Academy of Sciences and Arts, since 2001 she is a curator of the project "St. Petersburg Pastel in Peterhof".
Elena lives in St. Petersburg and works in the genres of portrait, landscape, nude, mainly using pastel technique, pencil drawing. She is the author of the following series of works: "Autumn" (1997), "Journey by Railroad" (2001) and others.
