Contributor articles on One Way of Governing Malays, The Passing of the Opium Problem, to North American Review and The Outlook, also studies of the Far East to Atlantic, Scribner’s, Harper’s, et cetera Appointed assessor on Opium Advisory Committee by Council League of Nations, serving, 1921-1925.

Delegate to International Opium Conference, Geneva, 1924-1925.

In Philippines, 1930-1931, on mission for United States Government, to report on opium situation.
