Evgeny Borisovich studied at Oryol Art College located in Yelets in 1948-1953, at the Faculty of Monumental and Decorative Painting of Leningrad Higher Arts and Industry College (now Saint Petersburg Art and Industry Academy) (1953-1954), and at Institute of Painting, Sculpture, and Architecture named after I.E. Repin of Academy of Arts of the USSR located in Leningrad (now Saint Petersburg) (1954-1960). His teachers were S.M. Mikhailova, Yu.M. Neprintseva, B.C. Pimenova.
Member of regional, zonal, national, all-Union exhibitions since 1961. As a result of many trips to Karelia (1953-1955), the Chusovaya River (1958), Lake Baikal (1959-1960), the Barents Sea (the 1960s), the Baltic States (1978-1979) Evgeny Borisovich created a cycle of genre paintings and landscapes: In the White Night (1960), Baikal Weekdays (1961), Fishermen of the North (1964) and many others. He painted the portraits of the Voronezh artist V.V. Belopolsky (1967), and sculptor V.F. Burimova (1971).
