Fahimul Anam is a Bangladeshi-born British Islamic scholar, teacher and founding director of the Beacon Institute.
Education
Anam a Fellow of the Higher Academy (FHEA). He has graduated with an Master of Arts in Teaching and Learning and a Bachelor (Honours) in Business Studies and Marketing from the. He also completed a Diploma in Arabic language and a Bachelor in Usul-Ad-Din and Usul-al Fiqh (in the Arabic medium) from the European Institute of Islamic Sciences in France.
Whilst studying Shariah, he also completed a Tajwid course on Ibn al-Jazari, a classical Tajwid text, and studied Tajwid under a number of Tajwid scholars.
Career
Categories restored Since 2007, Anam has been teaching Aqidah, Fiqh, Usul-al Fiqh, Family Life, Tajwid, Arabic and other Islamic Sciences in the United Kingdom in various courses. He also teaches Tajweed and Shariah Sciences at the Beacon Institute, of which he is one of the founding directors. Sheikh Fahim is also a founding Trustee of "Gift of Knowledge", a fund for supporting the students of Shariah knowledge.
He also delivers talks on various Islamic issues at university campuses, Mosques and Islamic Centres.
