Fedor Fedorovich Melikhov was a member of the Great Patriotic War. After demobilization from the army (1946), he worked as a chemistry teacher at the Lipetsk Metallurgical Technical School, in secondary schools.
He spoke at the USSR readings at the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences (Moscow) twice. Fedor Fedorovich also put forward several original philosophical and natural science ideas, including a hypothesis about the origin of the Universe.
