Francine Friedman was born on July 8, 1948 in Lima, Ohio, United States, in the family of Ralph and Muriel Edelman.

Education

Francine received her A.B. (cum laude) at Syracuse University, M.A. at McMaster University and Ph.D. from Claremont Graduate School.

Career

Professor Friedman teaches international relations, Russian and East European politics. Dr Friedman teaches courses in International Relations, Russian Politics, Ethnic Conflict, and Terrorism. Dr. Friedman is also the Director for the Jewish Studies program.
