Engineer of Mines, Ohio State University, 1911. Graduate Infantry School, 1923, honorary graduated from Command and General staff schedul, 1927. Graduated from Army War College, 1933.

Career

Commissioned Second lieutenant Infantry, 1911. Promoted through grades to major general, January 1942. Commandant The Infantry School, July 1944-1945.

Retired from active service April 30, 1946.
