Fukushima Yoichi graduated from the Agriculture School, Tokyo University.
Career
A specialist in agricultural technique and agricultural economics, Fukushima Yoichi joined the Agriculture-Forestry Ministry after the Pacific War and became chief of the Crop Information Section. After retiring from the post, he has been active as a member of the Japan Science Council and a member of the Science and Technology Administration Council. He is also noted as an authority on agricultural meteorology and agricultural statistics.
