Education
He graduated from Kobe Higher Commercial School in 1917.
Career
He entered Mitsubishi Paper Manufacturing Company and then became secretary in 1930 and manager of the head office in 1938. Then he was superintendent of Nakagawa Plant and Takasago Plant in 1940, executive director in 1946, and president in 1948. He toured U.S. and Canada in 1926.
