Furuno Inosuke graduated from a primary school and went to Tokyo (1906) where he found employment at a tailor shop.
Furuno Inosuke was employed by Associated Press as a messenger boy (1907). He worked at Kokusai News Agency and attended Waseda University. Helped in establishing the Rengo News Agency (1926) and became its managing director. When Rengo News Agency was merged into the Domei News Agency (1934) he served as managing director and president (1939). Was purged after the war and depurged (1951).
