Galliano studied at Brera Academy in Milan.
Galliano started his career as a teacher at a Brazilian evening school, a post he held for one year. In 1916, he returned to Italy, where he served as a volunteer.
The Second World War distressed him to such an extent, that it led him to depression and he was forced to take care of himself in a clinic in Varese. At the end of the war in 1945, Galliano returned to Milan, where he served as a teacher at a middle school.
In 1948 Mazzon joined the Concrete Art Movement.
In October, 1967 Carlo Ludovico Ragghianti presented Galliano to the first abstractionists in Florence during the historical exhibition held at Palazzo Strozzi.
