Gary Noyes's life centers on three major issues: spirituality, fitness, and psychology. Once, he was getting very sick with diabetes. Noyes discovered that he had several mistaken lifestyle beliefs about weight loss and fitness that allowed the disease to attack him. When he learned how to change them, he defeated diabetes and lost eighty pounds of ugly fat in the process. So, after twenty years as a minister and ten years as a mental health psychotherapist, Noyes combined his three areas of interest in his book You Weigh What You Believe. He is currently keeping to write self-help books.
