Career

Mr. Roscoe began a career in journalism in 1928, as an editor for the Kansas City Post in Kansas City, Missouri. He served as a correspondent for the Unite Press, and in 1945, became the editor and publisher of the Qualified Contractor, a position he held until his retirement in 1972. He also authored three books — Here's the Dirt, Enjoy and Build It Yourself, and 200 Ways to Save Energy in the Home.

Achievements

George Roscoe is remembered as the publisher of Qualified Contractor, the trade journal of the National Electrical Contractors Association.
