Gilbert Goon

Background

Goon was born on October 7, 1946 in New York City, New York, United States; the son of Fook Mun Goon and Nellie (Eng) Goon.

Education

Goon received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Princeton University in 1967. Five years later he earned his Master of Arts degree and a Master of Public Health degree in 1975 from Columbia University.

Career

Goon began his career as an associate engineer at Sperry Systems Management in 1972. Three years later he took a position of a senior staff analyst at Loral Electronic Systems (nowadays Loral Corporation). Then in 1981, Gilbert was appointed a consultant at ITT Avionics Division (nowadays ITT Inc.). In 1986, he was a consultant at Norden Systems. Since 1986 Goon has been a staff consultant at Lockheed Martin Fairchild Systems (now part of BAE Systems Electronics, Intelligence & Support).

Goon is a member of World Tae Kwon Do Association and Harley Owners Group.
