In 1938 he graduated from the Voronezh Theater Academy (P.A. Novoskoltsev course). During studying Grigory Didenko took part in Voronezh Drama Theater performances, including Svyazist ("The Man with the Gun" by Nikolai Pogodin).
In 1938-1941 he was the entertainer of the song and dance ensemble in Belarusian border troops. In 1946-1947 Didenko was the head of Minsk Regional Art Department. Since 1947 was a spoken genre actor of the Belarusian Philharmonia. Didenko was the author and performer of satirical verses, miniatures, feuilletons.
