Hajime Takeo was born in 1896 in Chiba, Japan.
Hajime Takeo was once a Communist and instigated the farm movement. Served various posts as an employee of the Vladivostok branch of the Bank of Chosen (Korea), as a reporter of Jiji Shimpo (newspaper), as president of Russo-Japanese News Agency and as a private teacher of Russian language. After the war, he was elected member of the House of Representatives five times.
